We work across non-fiction travel writing, global brand narratives, and fiction — shaping language with clarity and intention. Our practice combines human craft and current language technology to deliver bilingual services in Japanese [ja-JP] and English [en-US]: professional writing, transcreation, and subtitle editing.

kkyam, a.k.a riito_s, is a cross-lingual editor and writer — working across monologue, dialogue, and travelogue in the digital space. He is also an independent translator, neural machine translation editor, and subtitler.
Since 2006, he has contributed to media content production projects in Japan and internationally through his digital media sole proprietorship, Bluish Media (formerly BLUISH MEDIA OÜ | azure connexion, LLC).
A native Japanese speaker and writer, kkyam studied Languages, Information Science and Management, and Multimedia Communications at universities and graduate school in Japan and the United States. Prior to 2006, he held customer services and marketing positions at major international airlines headquartered in the U.S. and the U.K. He is fluent in English — TOEIC L&R score in the 99.5th percentile rank — and proficient in multiple languages.
Having lived, studied, and worked in Japan, the United States, Hong Kong, Thailand, and the EU, he has visited over 600 airports across 85 countries and regions on five continents since the late 20th century. He is currently based in Tokyo.
kkyam（a.k.a. riito_s）は、デジタルメディア空間でモノローグ、ダイアローグ、トラベローグを紡ぐ多言語エディター・ライターです。フリーランスの翻訳編集者（ネイティブおよびAI翻訳編集・校正）、字幕制作者としても活動しています。
2006年より、自身が運営するBluish Media（旧 BLUISH MEDIA OÜ | azure connexion, LLC）を拠点に、日本および世界各地のメディアコンテンツ制作プロジェクトに参画しています。
日本語を母語に、日本と米国の大学・大学院で言語、経営情報、マルチメディアコミュニケーションを学んだのち、2006年まで米国と英国の航空会社のカスタマーサービスおよびマーケティング部ほかで勤務しました。英語はTOEIC L&Rスコア パーセンタイルランク99.5%をマークするほか、その他の複数の言語にも精通しています。
日本、米国、香港、タイ、EUに居住・修学・就労した経験から、20世紀末より5大陸85か国・地域の600超の空港を訪れました。現在は東京を拠点に活動しています。
